The safety and well being of your dog is my priority and their grooming experience should be enjoyable, calm and stress free.

I will do everything I can to keep your dog relaxed and happy, treating your dog as if it were my own.

I only groom one dog at a time allowing your dog to feel at ease in the grooming room. Should your dog require breaks during or after the groom, then they will have the freedom to move about the space as necessary.

On arrival I will carry out a full consultation with you whereby we can discuss your requirements for your dog and any grooming concerns that you might have. We can then look at the grooming options available following which your dog will then receive a grooming health check before commencing the groom. 

All of my equipment has been carefully selected to ensure that your dog has the best possible grooming experience: 

• My grooming table has a world class linear actuator providing smooth, vibration free movement when raising or lowering the table which is perfect for nervous, excitable or older dogs.
• The bath lowers to just 25cm meaning that large or older dogs will be able to stroll into the tub without any uncomfortable lifting, and the smooth action frame will not startle your pets while the bath is being raised or lowered to the correct height. Manufactured from SS304 grade stainless steel with 2mm of thickness makes the bathing experience less "noisy" for your pet.
• The dryer also runs quietly with minimum noise to keep your dog relaxed and calm throughout the groom, and should your dog require clipping, then the ultra quiet motor makes it perfect for nervous pets.

The different grooming services available here at Top Dogs are as follows:

The full groom is for a dog with long or short hair who needs hand scissoring or clipping. This service includes a warm double shampoo, conditioner if necessary, a gentle all over massage to release muscle tension and relax your dog, blow drying, cutting the hair (either a breed standard cut or as discussed at the consultation), a hygiene trim, trimming under the pads, cutting the nails and ear cleaning/plucking.
