A Little Bit About Me!
I am a professional, fully qualified and insured dog groomer, committed to ensuring that every dog leaves my grooming room not only looking their best, but having felt calm and relaxed throughout their grooming experience with me at all times.
My name is Rebecca and I have lived in the Algarve with my two sons since 2006. Dogs have been an integral part of my life since I was a baby, but my passion for dogs grew even stronger when I adopted two of my own from a rescue centre in Aljezur.
Bonnie and Byron's arrival into our family enriched each of our lives in different ways. Byron now lives happily over the rainbow but his soul and unconditional love remain with us every day.
For me, my love for everything about them led me to the decision to have a complete career change. Having worked for over 30 years in various positions and countries, at 45 years of age I had finally decided what career path I wanted to take ...better late than never! So I took the plunge and returned to the UK where I trained to be a professional dog groomer.
Following my training at a dog grooming academy within the veterinary hospital at Anrich Vets in the North West of England, I received a professional diploma in dog grooming that is recognised and accredited by the Pet Industry Federation and the British Dog Groomers Association, whilst also achieving a certificate in animal first aid.
My decision to become a dog groomer was life changing and needless to say I have never looked back.
